Visual impairment
For visitors with visual impairments, visiting the Cité can only be done with an accompanying person. The exhibition trails include dark rooms, and glass surfaces may also make orientation difficult.
An audio guide is provided to each visitor and can support visually impaired visitors in exploring the exhibition trails. Tactiles devices have been designed to allow an approach to the themes through touch. A magnifying glass is available at the reception desk.
Guided tours adapted for blind or visually impaired visitors can also be arranged for groups upon request and booking.
To ensure the best possible visit, please contact the visitor services team at 05.55.20.28.76 or @email to discuss your needs.
Motor disabilities
The museum spaces and facilities are fully accessible to visitors with reduced mobility, allowing them to move around independently and explore the exhibitions.
Folding chairs are available at the reception desk to support your visit, subject to availability.

Hearing impairment
For hearing-impaired visitors using hearing aids, the audio guides are equipped with an induction loop system (“T” position).

For deaf visitors in groups, the museum can arrange guided tours with a sign language interpreter (LSF).
